The company acts as the Consultant for the Integrated medical centre called "Klinik Ebrahim & Surgeri" registered with Malaysian Medical council since 1989. We use Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy and Intermittent pneumatic pressure pump (ECP or Artasist pump) to rapidly squeeze the foot,ankle and calf. All are USA FDA approved. Hyperbaric Oxygen will deliver high concentration of Oxygen to the dying tissues. The Intermittent Pneumatic Pressure pump controlled by the heart monitor is timed to allow each arterial pulse wave to enter the leg and provide a driving force to disseminate the blood around the leg and at the same time press venous and excess tissue water from the leg to reduce the swelling of the leg. Patients with pulse rate 80 beats per minute might receive 4800 such compressions an hour. Patients with severe arterial leg disease might receive 100 such treatments or close to a half a million compressions! Breakdown of clots, rechannelization of blocked vessels and the formation of new small vessels may help restore blood. Ozone bagging will clear off the pathogens of the infected wound. Chelation therapy will extract the calcium and Pine apple enzyme (Bromeleine) will dissolve the fibrinous part of the clogged arteries. The above program will relieve the rest pain, patients who were on Morphine will not be required any more. The foul smell of the gangrene wound will disppear. The blood flow to the legs and foot will improve. Amputation below knee will not be required. The drastic treament for one month and follow up for 5 to 8 months may be required until the wound is totally healed. ;void(0)) ;void(0)) It is not easy to salvage the severe diabetic Gangrenous limb. Money,time and man power to help the patient is required. It takes 3 to 8 months to heal the severe gangrenous wound. The cost of saving the leg is high. Surgeons recommend to amputate the leg below knee for fast recovery. Although the limb will be lost but may be able to walk with prosthesis. Those who do not wish to amputate below knee the above regeme may be an option. ;void(0)) Look at this foot. All surgeons recommended to amputate below knee three years ago. It took 6 months to completely heal the wound. Patient lost 4th and 5th toes. Skin grafting had to be done. She is 70 years old lady. She can walk.
